Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community.

Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Baulkham Hills North has a vibrant and active P&C. They are a group of parents, carers and school community members who assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering.

The P&C objectives are to:

Promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close co-operation
Assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and in promoting the recreation and welfare of the students at the school.
Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.

The P&C meets on the third Tuesday of each month.

Our parent volunteers are the backbone of the P&C!

Our fundraising efforts contribute to school improvements such as playgrounds.

Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board! Anyone is welcome to our meetings, however if you would like to have voting rights at meetings, you need to become a member.

P&C meetings - All welcome

The P&C meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm. The meetings are held online on Microsoft TEAMS and links are sent via School Bytes prior to each meeting.

We encourage all parents to join us.

The agendas and meeting minutes are distributed to all parents each month via School Bytes. They are also available upon request to anyone who is interested. If you would like to receive copies of our meeting Agenda and Minutes send an email to bhnpspc@gmail.com.

Yearbook

The P&C produce an annual Yearbook. This professionally printed book captures student classwork, class photos, sports events, and school activities along with the essence of our amazing school spirit and a whole lot more!

It’s a wonderful keepsake filled with memories from your child’s year, a special memento for you both to look back on and remember.

Parenting doesn't come with instructions! SchoolTV offers BHNPS parents a one-stop shop of parenting resources, credible information and advice. Browse a huge library of videos, podcasts, fact sheets and more on wellbeing topics such as friendship, body image, anxiety, cyber safety, neurodiversity and more.

SchoolTV is a wellbeing resource to help support you in the challenges of modern-day parenting relating to youth mental health and wellbeing.

Parenting is a learning journey and SchoolTV supports families by providing credible information from trusted sources with practical strategies to help alleviate some of the challenges being faced by young people today.
