Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school events may include:

Literacy Lovers' Day

June

Literacy Lovers' Day is a very special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Everybody participates in dressing up as a favourite book character and students from K-2 take part in a book parade.

A book fair is held in the library and is open to all students from K-6 to come and purchase a book. Parents and friends are very welcome to browse and buy too.

Carols by Candlelight

December

This community event is a wonderful way to end the year! All are welcome to picnic, sing and join in the Christmas cheer. The Salvation Army band and lead carollers provide the music and the P&C BBQ, food trucks and cake stalls add to the festive atmosphere.

Music Festivals and Performances

Our students have the opportunity to perform in iconic venues such as the Sydney Town Hall and the Sydney Opera House through their involvement in school choirs, strings ensembles and dance groups.
